Ottoman Turkish Navy Camouflage Schemes in WWI

Hello everyone,

I am looking to build Combrig's 1/350 model of the Ottoman Turkish cruiser Mecidiye and possibly scratch build one of the Ottoman Navy's torpedo boats. I would like to paint these models in their First World War color schemes but I have had a lot of difficulty in finding out what colors were used on different warships. Does anyone know what the color schemes were for Ottoman warships in the First World War or are there any good references for this information? I have found very little information on this matter (in English and German sources) and what little I have found has been contradictory. For example, some sources state that the Muavent class of destroyers were painted black like their counterparts in the German High Seas Fleet while another source states that they and all of the other Ottoman destroyers and torpedo boats were painted khaki. I have been working with historians at the Istanbul Naval Museum on this matter and even they have not been able to come up with an answer for me at this point.

Perhaps any fellow modeler in Turkey might know of something? Any information would be much appreciated.
