Pearl Harbour

Dear friends,
some years ago (2012 ) I spent 3 wonderful weeks in hawaii and of course I visitet the historical site of Pearl Harbour.
Please enjoy a couple of pictures taken there.

The trip to Arizona Memorial is only possible by joining a group and using the well organized boat shuttle service of the navy ( including a film about history of the beginning of WWII.)
The next pictures are showing a walkaround at the "Mighty Mo ", a bus brought me to Ford Island while my wife had a dinner
.
Everybody is free to visit the ship by his own intention using the well marked way.

Please see some more details. Unfortunately I wasn`t able to take pictures inside the turret because of a large number of visitors inside.
