1/200 Scratchbuiot Mariotte

Just finished this scratchbuild of Mariotte. The only things on it I used from a kit were the propellers (because I'm lazy)

An enjoyable and relatively quick project and a funny looking (which I like) submarine for my cabinet

I watched this develop on Facebook Chris, but it merits praise here too. I know you've been quite humble about the quality / accuracy on Facebook but I think credit is due here - it's a cracking model of a distinctly unusual subject!

Not much to tell. It was a submarine built for France in 1906 and lost in the dardenelles after an uneventful career. Her interest lies in her form. But there is a little more info on Google and Wiki
