1/350 Peter The Great Kirov class heavy battle cruiser

Well I�ve had this kit for some time now, I�ve kind of been holding off on working on it in order to gather more information and pics especially the hangar and the inside of the towed sonar array in the sturn which I�ve decided not to go into detail with.
As for the hangar bay, I�ve found some pretty cool pics and have been working off those.
Here is what I�ve got so far, enjoy!

I will try to post as often as I can on this project.
So here�s a few update pics, I still need to do some detailing and add the rotors on the helicopters

Here is a current update on my progress.
Made the rotors for the helicopters from another kit and also have had to scratch build detail parts for the Bow.

Here are some more pics, just installed the hangar and the doors, I also cut out that section on the stern that appears to be a tow point.

Update, I found some press photos of the Peter The Great from the 2017 Russian navy day, really good shots that show some differences that I�m trying to add.
Working down the deck fore to aft there is a lot to scratch build.

So here is our next step moving down the ship there is a lot of detail that needs to be added.
I got the available photo etched accessory kit to help with a lot of the detail but unfortunately it�s designed for the Kirov, bringing the ship up to current specks also means scratchbuilding a lot of stuff.
Peter The Great and the Kirov are very different!

So while the glue on all the new parts fully cures I figured I�d do some research on the boats that go on the ship, it appears that there are currently six different types of boats on board that I can see.
The kit provides us with these pictures below.
Kit bash time!
Going to have to make some changes.
I have already started on one of the boats.
