Resin make-it-yourself - what do I need

Post by PetrOs »

Hello

Even if I am doing models for years, I never made a replica of a part using resin. However, now I am "forced" to it. Upon unpacking an MPM 1/72 Fokker T.VIII floatplane, I found out that one of the engines is misformed and underpour. Unluckily, the kit is OOP, and the MPM can not provide me a spare part. However, the second engine is fine, and they shall be identical. So, I will need to replicate it. So, what do I need exactly, and where do I get it cheaply in Germany?
Model kit manufacturer and distributor: https://b2b.modellbaudienst.de
Distributor of Very Fire, Snowman, Milania Master Korabel, Falkonet, Microdisign in EU
1:350 HMS Diana 1794 - nearly released
Further kits in preparation.

For starters:

you can get everything HERE:

http://www.weissmetall.de/

It is a joy to do business with them.

I'm afraid all this will cost you a lot of time (for trials) and money (for all the stuff).

If you like - I can do the job for you. Its 2 hours of work, so shipping would be the timely factor. Just send me a PM if interested.
