Dear Colleagues

Thought I'd see if I could successfully share some images of my Flyhawk 1/700 Hermes

Nice build, especially the airgroup. I have those Swordfish in my stash. How did you attach the PE for the wings?

I built and painted the Swordfish keeping the top wing separate. Flyhawk craftily have the cabane struts as styrene part of the fuselage. I razor sawed through them so they looked more like struts then carefully white glued the etched rigging to the lower wing. Then you can glue the top wing to the cabane struts and hey presto! The beauty of this is the connection is nice and positive and does not float like the Fujimi Japanese navy biplanes which sit purely on etch rigging

Regards

Andrew
