I was wondering if anyone could throw me a link to the best places to get either 1/192 or 1/200 plans for the ships
Nagato, Fuso, Hyuga(ISE Class), oyodo, agano, and Barham/ Revenge aswell as larger size plans for the Fubuki, Akizuki, Kagero, Shimakaze, O class, and Tribal class. I have checked taubman's site and they have them but they are in 1/144 and for model ship combat which are often less detailed.

Pacific Front has some, including some of the amazing Miyukikai plans

I've been lusting after a set of his Shimakaze plans - both the '42 and the '44 - for some time now. :pout:

Some are, and some are very detailed- it really depends on the set. I have some in 1/144 (being a ship combat sorta guy) that are scaled from incredibly detailed plans. And I have some that aren't. Check to see how many sheets there are, and ask how detailed they are. I can tell you the Mogami plans and the Takao plans are pretty good. Althought the AOTS book for Takao is a needed supplement.

yes, i some Mogami plans that are absolutely superb, but then i have an IJN destroyer that are rather crude for even combat standards (still usable nonetheless, but not much in terms of detail)
