Flyhawk HMS Naiad completed

That's my Flyhawk HMS Naiad completed in a build time of about 50 hours although that included adding the ocean wave base, a little plaque, some token rigging/aerials and a few bits of the bonus sheet of PE parts. Quite a nice little kit and would warrant a conversion to some of the other early Dido-class cruisers.

Many thanks. There are one or two gotchas I only noticed as I completed the model: the instruction sheet doesn't mention the PE parts for the funnel cap but I subsequently discovered them on the bonus sheet of etchings. The larger exhaust stubs on parts J46 and J47 may need to be filed a little to get a good fit. Step 2 requires a PE ladder to be glued onto the forward superstructure below the C-turret; however, when you attach the railings at Step 13 the access gap didn't match where I'd put my ladder. Memo to self: open and read everything before racing through the build.
I've got some Mikromir RN submarine kits for future builds, I'll try the K-15 first. If it's any good I will post some photos.

Nicely done! I have a couple Flyhawk kits on the shelf. The look to build into really nice models.
