Anyone had any experience in creating a VLS in 1/700 ?

HI,

Anyone had any experience in creating a VLS for a 1/700 scale model? I am currently in the process of building some future concept type ships, from Corvette to Destroyer size, and would like to add VLSs to them. Taking from the Meko and other type ships, there are different sizes and number of hatches. I was wondering is there are any tips or tricks to making these? What worked, what didn't work.
