Where I live it is very difficult to get mold release, and shipping is Killer/not possible from other places, so I was wondering if there were alternatives to commercial Mold Release say perhaps WD-40 or something like it? Basicly I'm wondering If WD-40 would work as a mold release.

WD 40 is a No-No
A release on a silicon rubber mold for casting whitemetal parts? resin ? more clues please
If there is a department store or an auto store near by try them!
silicon sprays for wheels tyres ie auto detailing might do the trick.

Yes and if your parts don't turn out right, at least they'll be tasty!!

Most resin parts don't really need a mold release anyway.
