Nice! This will be a unique model on the shelf. What building method are you using? Looks like a balsa and styrene mix.

And Matt, the main upper and lower hull halves are made from basswood layered in the "bread and butter" fashion. It'll eventually be skinned in styrene. The rest of the ship will be predominately styrene. I'm planning on building it entirely in resin castable sub-assemblies so someday I can also build an early Yamashiro and maybe a late 20's Fuso.
