Let's complete the list. We have Midship and Yankee Model Works covered. I know that ships & Co. have a 1/700 SCB-125 Intrepid comming out this winter.
What else is in the works with other manufacturers?

Re: *Resin* A list of Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
I was hoping so, but the economy has put a kink in our plans, as well as a vendor backing out of producing some rapid prototype parts for us. We are not the only ones by the way who is suffering this setback. Needless to say, focus on keeping the doors open takes precedent over producing new kits at this time. We haven't given up, but priorities for us are clear.
Captain!, I'm pouring as fast as I can, I dinna think I can take much more. Any more stress and I think I'm goin' ta blow right along with the pressure pot.

Re: *Resin* A list of Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
IHP is in a similar position these days. Business is still good but has been noticeably off over the last few months. The model railroad business has taken some precedent lately with some popular new releases in the last year or so, and I'm doing some lucrative souvenir model work for SEPTA, our local transit agency, but now things have slowed down partially thanks to the economy. We're making some ships again now while we have the time, but even this business is being limited to products and moulds already extant. Several all-new railroad and ship items done and 'in the queue' are having to wait until things are more optimum (like the IC Highliner MUs, the Reading MUs, Montana, Hermes and BB18). Sometimes, when things are slow, you have to work with what you have. Like Tom said, priorities.Tom@JAG wrote:I was hoping so, but the economy has put a kink in our plans, as well as a vendor backing out of producing some rapid prototype parts for us. The Montana is closest to release, though. February '09, if things go well this month.

Re: *Resin* A list of Upcoming Ship Kit Releases
I there any information about the new IJN Chikuma resin model kit YKM35074
in 1/350 from Yankee Modelworks?
It seems that it is already available from Free Times Hobbies but absolutely no information about what is included and what is the difference to the IJN Tone model kit (only 1942 version Chikuma versus 1944 version Tone)?

I ordered the YMW Chikuma from Freetime, and it showing "waiting for restock", so I guess it's not exactly available yet, but I'm sure soon.

It took us about 1 bizillion years, but yes, the Chikuma is out.
Now if I only get the other 6 new kits out the door, i'd be happy.
