transmitter - receiver

hi, i just bought a new transmitter-receiver set(transmitter,receiver,servo)

but i can't use it, i put it on and after 10-20 seconds it goes blank.
any idea how this can occur...

More info please- Brand, model, what is happening *exactly*.

thanks for helping, but i finaly decoded the manual (it was in german)
and it was just a dead battery ,and they were brand new!!!!
but thank you that u wanted to help me out, srry for the trouble
