Looks very good! It's interesting to see the resemblance of this type to both the German Type XXI and WW2 Soviet sub classes. Any chance of some close-up photos?
Also, is the green paint scheme above the waterline the one used on the real boat? It looks rather similar to the "tropical green" used by the USN in the WW2 Pacific theatre.

I built the model based on the real steel. One that survive of 12 ships and becomes a playground monument in Surabaya, Indonesia.
It seems the color is not right, I'm still looking for it. Its difficult to see the deck detail, there is no permit to climb the ship.

- hehehe.....they used Avia Green paint for weather protection. Some say that tropical green is the right color as you suggest.

- The ship is surrounded by trees and buildings.
No reference books, only some drawings at:
http://www.hugohein.com/other/uboat.194/u-194.specs.htm

And the result is.........tadaaaa

- Is this the original color scheme?

- Not enough details been added.
