I am looking to build some modern German Naval subjects (destroyers, frigates, corvettes, and minesweepers), but I do not have a clue as to how to come up with the plans for such subjects. Does anyone have any suggestions.
Thanks,
Brett K.

Hi Brett!
For an example, the Brandenburg class german frigate were ordered by the German Navy in June 1989 and commissioned between 1994 and 1996 to replace Hamburg class destroyers.
You can find plans for these ships here:
http://www.christian-schmidt-fachbuchha ... ucts_id=94
Another very interesting design is for Fast Patrol Boats, E-Boats, see "Gepard" class:
And you can get plans here:

Hope it can make a little help!
Nice regards: Jimmy

The Type 103 Ltjens class was the last class of destroyers in service with the German Navy. They were replaced by the new Sachsen-class frigates, designated frigate even though they are much larger and more capable in all aspects than the Ltjens class destroyers. Basically the ships were Charles F. Adams-class guided missile destroyers but with some modifications to meet German requirements.
So, any plans for the Charles Adams class can match the modern ship model you are looking for.

As exemple of minesweeper you can report to Schutze class.
You can read a bit here in the forum:

Not plans for this class, but you can get a nice kit here:

Hi Brett, you are so welcome......
There is a large plan collection of German warships in the Bundesarchiv in Freiburg (often called BAMA). Their website is in German only at the moment (Aug 2009). If you have experience working with BAMA, please share them with me. I dont know if the ships are from modern navy, just some friends told me the information.
