I began new model proj. It's a cruise ship,Sun Princess..

Song Jung Gun - hello there, that's a large cruise ship you're going to build, what type of wood do you use ? I remember when I was very small, my dad gave me a wooden ship HMS Victory, the hull was solid wood and the upper parts were like a compressed paper, not MDF or cardboard, it was such a long time ago, but hand built with skill, I've liked looking at these type of - what would you actually call them ? A model no doubt, a wooden scale ship perhaps.
Look forward to seeing more progress, and maybe you can explain more of what and how you make this ship.

It's a ginko used in sculupture,table,.... I call it.....I don't know just wooden model...

I'm going to paint hull only with my style. Thanks for your interesting my models.

I still can't take in or understand how you're actually gauging the parts of the wood you're reducing into the hull shape, I can clearly see what you are doing, and can only guess you are using craft-man skill to curve this out. Could you tell me at what point does your eye take over from the details on the plan you're working from, assuming you are working from a scale drawing.

The point is prepare working plan. If you wan't to 1/200 scale modeland prepare 1/200 working drawings. And then gauging the parts just 1/1 of working drawings.

The next progress is making ships both sides and attaching carved stem.
The chipboard is used in both sides because IT HAS A LOT OF WINDOWS.

How did you make the windows in the chipboard? Punched them out with a chisel? Or did you use a scroll saw?

I made windows: 1.Mark on the chipboard by pencil. 2.Drill the hole on the corner by pinvise.
3.Sawing by copingsaw. 4.Grind the shape by small file...
Almost work done by hand.

next step... attach side chipboard on the hull and stern. It appear almost ship's shape..

Looking great, pleased to see you're including the stem/stern directional prop's.

Next is 7th(?)deck...

Hello Song - I see you work very fast and precise, especially with those straight cuts you've made, pleased to see the cruise ship taking shape, just to throw a sanner in the works, were you thinking of having LED lights on this ship ? Great work so far.
