Truly
FIRST CLASS modelmaking !!
I love the boat, love the torpedoes--overall finish is of very high standard- additional and retro-detailing is simply superb!
If I had any critique/comment to make...

( should I ...? )
( and this is my own biased opinion !! )
...it would be ......
that I find the supports for the cradle to be a little intrusive on the overall look of the model.
On your next one.... (

) maybe have the supports on one side only--leaving the sub to be viewed uninterrupted by the cradle in all its glory from the other side...
Shame you cannot make Telford--this model would doubtlessly attract much attention!

Hey Jim,
beside the fact that i appreciate each and every feedback, some are really important and thats one of these.
We met and we chatted but still... you re one of my modelling idols.
I shared the same concerns regarding the impact of these supports there.
It was the following picture, made me swaying:
The cradle is brutally visible and disturbing the visual approach to the model.
And therefore, i made these items movable and removable.
I will catch some reactions from the audience and friends and decide occasionally, with tendence to what you mentioned above.
Thanks for adress this topic, Jim!
Very much appreciated!
Best
Alex

Hi Alex,
awesome paint job! Next to the ecxellent weathering effects I most like the subtle camo scheme.
High five for a superb work
