this one was the last addition and seems to be the most likely to be comissioned before the New Year...

a severe slump if i may say so...

the intent is to build: a PSMM5, an LCU, LSM, OPV, APD, APB and a regular LST. so far only the PSmm5 is making progress...

Well, just tell when you start on the APB, as those LSTs really did see different services. I tried working around to get one of those PT Tender versions up, but gave up.

its been almost a year since the last post!

here they are now ( some are in the drydock longer than the others..)

Image

at least the tug boat, the LSM, the gun boat and the DE are slooooooowly moving on, beyond a new paint job...

oh, this got in the way with my fleet build up:

Image

not part of the fleet nor in scale-a 1/350 scale Hamilton painted in Philippine Navy colors for her newest ship- but i had to do this in time for this:

back to my own fleet...

Jepot, on your "fleet in waiting" pic, what did you use for your LCT?
I have a Skywave landing kit with LCT3 (British) I was gonna cut them down & modify to the LCT6. It's do-able, but yours looks so "clean".

Paul

hi Paul!

If you are referring to the first pic, its the bow are of a Skywave LCT(R); i made the needed measurements, cut it down to size and voila! its intended to be an obscure ship our Navy once made to a floating clinic...

here is a post of the intended kit, posted Oct 2008 - man talk about a drydock queen...

Thanks, I figured I was looking at a Skywave LCT, just could not figure out where you cut it back. My bad eyes have taken over.

Where did you shorten it up from? I was gonna cut mine in the MIDDLE of the "well deck" but it looks like you went further aft.

Thanks,

Paul

yes Paul i cut more further aft- not in the middle, it would be a tad bit too long then...

so far of the fleet in waiting this is what is already deployed:

plus a square bridge fletcher=- the ones in the pics are all Philippine Navy ships through the years 9 PN didnt get a Fletcher so its not in the group pic...)...

More than a year later, the only progress i can crow of so far:

Image

the Auks have some progress, so with the LST542 and the Knox got finished; the LCU and the APB are languishing - for a reason... hopefully some more progress in a months' time... :bash_2:

Jepot,

That is a great fleet you have going there, I love the yard craft and the aux support ships. Please keep up the great work, hope to see more progress soon.
