Not often modeled subject I guess - virtually or otherwise. My latest AotoCad study for a card model.

Very nice! I suppose you will "unfold" things like the crane and print on cardstock?

Just a wild idea - have you ever looked at the paper pattern cutting machines (look like printers) that are available through some craft stores? I wonder how fine detail they can cut? If they are good enough they could be a perfect match with a CAD sytem for making card models.

Or stencils for painting.

This project was inspired by the folks from Great Lakes Lore Maritime Museum from Rogers City who provided general plans and a lot of pictorial info about the vessel. Yes, it will be used to �unwrap� parts for the card model and as a matter of fact the hull is already done and tested.
I�m not familiar with the cutters you are talking about � I�ll check it out.
Finally, any information about the ship would be helpful. The plans I have are rather general and all the details have to be �extracted� from pictures.

Hi Roman. the original blueprints for the Bradley are likely at the Institute of Great Lakes Research in Bowling Green, Ohio. They have a website and you can contact them to see what it would cost for a scan, if they have her. The plans in the collection are not listed on the website, but if you contact them I am sure they wuold help.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'll research all the links.
The card model is going OK, just sloooooow.
The hull is ready and I'm off to superstructure and that's why I need some feedback regarding some elements I'm not sure about.
