USN Deck Blue 20-B
I know that alot of folks use WEM paints. With the production problems WEM is having, what are your using, or have used in the past that comes close? Thanks Mike

Pollyscale makes most of the USN WWII colors in acrylic. I've used several (20-B included) and haven't had a problem with them.

If you can find the Model Master Marine acryl, I've liked them, and thought they were slightly more accurate than Pollyscale. However, they are out of production. There's a store by me that has a rack and every time I'm there, I buy all I can afford.

Yes the modelmaster 4243 is the paint to use.

If I can't get WEM Colourcoats, then I resort to Model Masters. A good second best in my opinion. You might want to check out WarshipHobbies.com for WEM paints. They have made them the centerpiece of their inventory and I get most of my WEM paints from them. They usually have most of the tints in stock and they are great folks to do business with.
