I started this one three days ago after receiving the set of 1/350 PBRs from Tony Bunch at L'AresnalUSA.

It will be on display at his table at the Nationals in Omaha, in August.

Well there's something you don't see everyday. Top notch as always Nuke :thumbs_up_1: The water and the landscape are perfect. Nice job on the photo backgrounds as well, they're a nice touch.

Thank you, guys! I'm happy that you like my tiny dio. :thanks:

I've taken some more photos with natural sun light. I think that they turned out better.

All you need is a 1/350 Martin Sheen, photoetch waterskier, and maybe a tiger in the bush! Dont forget the Stones "Satisfaction" playing while on display....:)

Thanks Jerry. Thanks Fred.

Jerry,

Have you come up with a new aspect for modeling? Maybe something that there should be contest judging rules for?

Best Armor
Best Aircraft
Best Ship

Best Soundtrack

While making this diorama I was thinking about the Rolling Stones, Hendrix, and Creedence songs, in my head.

Hi Carl - question for you - what is the correct paint color for a Vietman War PBR? Your's looks just right, even in the small scale. It's not olive drab, is it? It seems darker than that.

Paul

Thanks, Christian. I'm glad you like it.

Paul,

I used Model Master Acrylic "Green Drab" with a brushing of black pastel chalk, then a gloss coat, and then a black wash and then a flat coat. Below the water line is Polly Scale "Oily Black" the canopy is "Olive Drab" and my eyes are "Vivid Red".

I can't say that these model paints are exact to the MilSpec color for Vietnam War PBRs, though. These colors worked, for me, on this one.

Thanks, I'll look for that Model Master paint when I start my Tamiya 1/35 PBR. :thumbs_up_1:
