Rookie question...

When purchasing plans, what are the patterns for the hull frames labeled as?
I'm referring to this (from the HMS Iron Duke thread).
I'm guessing either they're called 'hull section' or 'general arrangement/ fore and aft view.'
Which is correct?

i've heard both use. or just rib layout, ribs, hull sections, etc.

Frames..
The "Ribs" that are perpendicular to the keel in a ship are referred to as Frames.

Unfortunetly, Floating Drydock lists the various views that their plans display as follows:
A-MAIN DECK
G-FLIGHT DECK
N-INNER BOTTOM
B-OUTBOARD PROFILE
H-HANGER DECK
O-HOLD
C-BRIDGES
J-INBOARD PROFILE
P-DATA
D-SUPERSTRUCTURE DECK
K-1ST PLATFORM
Q-MISC. INTERIOR DECKS
E-PLATFORMS
L-2ND PLATFORM
R-MISC. EXTERIOR DECKS
F-HULL SECTION
M-3RD DECK
PV-PLAN VIEW(OVERHEAD)
G/A-GENERAL ARRANGEMENT
F&A-FORE AND AFT VIEWS
I'm not sure which of those catergories they place frame diagrams under (and at 20-35 bucks a pop, I'm not going to guess
). I have a feeling they're under either G/A or F&A, but I'm not sure.

you could always email floating drydock with ARH's pics you posted here. Ask them what plans set they have includes those, and there you go!
