I finally got another Corsair Armada Productions USS Garcia DE-1040 kit and I'm modifying this one into the one-of-a-class USS Glover FF-1098.

Great start on a unique ship Carl. I also wanted to build this kit but i have found no time to do it so far. I am looking forward to seeing more pics.

Thanks, Robin! You have no suggestions as to the use of the unidentified feature above? I'm wondering if it is a fender of some kind.

Carl,
In the pictures where that feature appears black, it looks like sections of fuel hose on some sort of straight rack. Yet, in the close-up shot it "appears" that the rack, if that's what it is, has a curve to it. Its definitely a puzzlement.

All of the railings, radar and additional details are done and I've applied a coat of Mr. Surfacer 1200 with my new GREX airbrush (first experiment with this new brush).

She's looking good Carl, I like that you turned the radar a bit, that makes her look ready for sea.

It only makes sense, to me, to position the radars off of centerline for a ship at sea water base. Thanks for noticing!
