I have completed the Charles F. Adams, Dragon Premium Edition, 1 / 700.
I've done in less time than I would need. It has several errors, but I think his general appearance is good.

Very nice looking model. Looks so small in your hand. As a kid, I built the old Revell kit, which was much bigger but still nice (the kit, not my model work).

From 16/01/1968 to 25/01/1968, when I was ten years, the ship Charles F. Adams visited the port of Marin (Spain) where is the Naval Academy of the Spanish Navy. It had been seven years since the entry into service of the CFA and was assigned to the Sixth Fleet and had made trips to other European ports. During their stay, students from the Naval Academy and officers could check the level of technology that incorporated the Adams.
At that time my father was a councilor in the City and was invited to a launch given by the Captain of the ship as a courtesy to the city.
When I "Modelwarships" I liked the content and encouraged me to re-build models and was a surprise to find the Charles F. Adams in the navy yard of Philadelphia.

In the last Christmas I thought it would be a good gift for my father to build the Charles F. Adams and give this surprise. Was building for a month, maybe a little rushed, but managed to finish and submit it with a little information about Charles F. Adams.
