Sverige class coastal defense ship plan's

Post by switchbreed »

Hello, I've been lurking on this forum for a while as a non-registered user but I finally decided to register so that I can utilize the search function and comment on all the astonishing projects in here! And so that I can post this question. I've searched for things like "Sweden class" and "sverige class" with "plans" and "model" and what not but I can't seem to find any plans for this ship. I really would like to give this ship a try as my first scratch project. Have anyone here ever built this ship?

Thanks in Advance!

Have you tried the Maritime Museum in Goteberg?

http://www.goteborg.se/wps/portal/sjofartsmuseet

As some of these ships were built in Goteberg they should have plans as they have quite a lot of plans from the shipyards there.

Also, as these ships were built before the Cold War, the plans won't be locked away.

Hope that helps.

If you're still looking for plans to this ship I have a copy of this one that I'm looking to sell (I won't be building it :( ). It's for a 1:150 scale bread-and-butter type of hull.

The plan is old and it shows (some creases and areas of the plan have been taped). Today I keep it rolled up, but to be shipped it most likely needs to be folded (again).

Drop me a line if you're interested.

Update! The plans has been sold. Thank you.
