Hull knuckles

Has anybody had any experience modeling the hull knuckles as found on the Atlanta class CLAA's or the British Dido class CL's? I build in 1/96 scale but the commercial hulls presently available all seen to have their knuckles somewhat soft rather than pronounced as in prototype pictures. Thanks to all who respond.

whilst not actually a scratchbuilder....but I recognize your pain in that many commercial hulls of all scales have very 'soft' knuckles...

So as an unashamed Kit-builder/converter may I proffer this suggestion:

--were it I--upon purchasing such a hull---I would grind out a hollow along the knuckle, let in a piece of square section ABS or even timber or whatever may be appropriate --so that the hard edge runs along the chosen line and make good the grindings woth flexible auto-body filler or similar

Hi Jim,

I had not thought if that particular method but it seems as though it would work fine. I will try that soon and thanks for your time.
