There is quite a bit more than what is currently pictured on our site (and on this thread up to this post)

Wood deck.... complete photo etch sets (several frets), turned brass parts, and much more. Pontos will be posting more photos soon.

I would agree with PVK308. I would like to know more about the set before pre ordering. I don't doubt the quality at all but am unsure of the contents. There have been statements about what was to be anticipated in the sets as well as people making requests about what they would like to see included. Also the mention of the initial "basic" set and a second advanced set and I am unsure of what that means as well. So a little more concrete information would be appreciated or maybe even a file that we could down load of the instructions like Eduard does on their site would be extremely helpful.

Again, I do not doubt the quality and certainly apprciate the effort being made on the product. I just want to know more about the content.

Mike

Just wanted to say to Pontos what a fantastic level of detail you are achieving with your 1/200 Bismarck Set.

Like some others suggest I'd be interested to see a general arrangement plan of the various frets to give an idea of what will be on offer and I would like to see your wooden deck and how far if at all is this designed?

I was about to buy the Mk 1 DX Pack by KA Models but havng seen the Pontos stuff that idea is dead in the water.

The jackstaff with the swastika is AMAZING.

Get some pictures of everything together on here OR on your website and the orders will flood in including mine!

Good luck and keep up the good work.

Pontos model, I am very impressed with what few pictures you have posted here for the super detail set for the Bismarck. I was about to buy a ArtWox set but won't be now. I would still like to see more pictures and if possible a list of what will be in your detail set before I preorder your set.

Hi All,

Thank you for your patience for waiting for new information.

Now even weekend, all our staffs have been fitting the final decoration for this big Bis manual instruction.
Until now everything is going well.
We are trying to show all contents with picture by 29th April.

Dry Transfer decal is also ready.(The last Swastika line may be removed to export to Europe market.)

Thank you

Hi,
due to Posts of Transfers and Lifetubes i see it was a smart decision to wait on Pontos.
No gathering of additionals Sets from all around the World- One Set that covers all.
Was a hard time waiting on you, but it was worth it.
I checked the sugg. price on freetime-hobbys and a lot of builders will be sorry, that they didnt wait on your "Love for Detail Product".

Mooooooooooooove on :good_job:

Bismarck is waiting

Hi,
I guess 2 Sets are necessary due to other Companies fast releases.
Builders around the world are waiting on Detailsets for the Trumpeter Bismarck.
Love for Detail-yes-but there are others already supplying.
2nd Set should be add on for the first one.
I guess there will be 2 "Waves" for the Pontos "Storm" :cool_2:
And later on -why not offer a complete Set also.
I think, we are talking about an 70-80% coverage of detailing the ship in the first??
And really, i dont want to wait much longer
By the time we need to make the 1rst set shine on the ship, the second will be available.

So split em up and bring em on

Kim,

Can you sense the anticipation for your 1/200 Bismarck set?

I am surprised there is nothing (that I can see anyway) about this on your website.

Can you post an image here now of the Fret Artwork you have regardless of whether its 80, 85, 90% complete etc?

Come on we can all go goggle eyed then and start working on our wives and girlfriends to justify another $150-200 outlay. :thumbs_up_1:

Don't worry Kim, when the sets are released I'm sure people will feel they were worth waiting for.
I hope you are going to take a break before the next set (even though I am secretly longing for some of the things you have planned).
