Oh perfection is what you want. Well then you need another hobby
Mate there are far more important things to worry about in life. I've been ship modelling for 40 odd years and I'm just pleased as punch for the variety of ships and after market stuff that is available at present. If Pontos doesn't lift their game then they'll loose customers, which is their problem. There are other PE choices on the market for the Bismarck.
I've used PE sets from just about all of the different manufacturers over the years and none have been as simple as I'd like. From WEM, Fujmi, Hasegawa, GMM, Lion Roar, etc. they all have errors or problems of one sort of another.
Relax and just enjoy your hobby.

Sorry but had to reply to this.
I have been modelling longer than you and have also used sets from many other manufacturers but l have never, ever, found that parts that should have been supplied were not even on the etched frets. If you follow this thread you will see that Pontos are having to issue supplementary frets to cover these omissions and shortages- if you note we also have some parts that have been duplicated. My latest findings is that l believe a couple of the railings should have cut outs in them to go over or round items in there way but l await response from Mr.Kim on this matter.
If you look over this site at the many Pontos sets that have been covered l can find no other set is being talked about with parts missing or even to the extent of guidance needed with part numbers as the instructions covered things in a better way.
I have been over three sheets of the instructions (1,5,8) and added many part numbers that were missing (most of page 9 of the Pontos correction sheet was from my own findings - even though it doesn't say so) and have sent copy of these to several people on this site that were having problems with these sheets and just a few days ago sent an updated copy of page 8 to Mr.Kim at Pontos to ask his comments but await to hear back. Don't all rush but anybody that would like copy of these then send PM with your e-mail address but be warned they are large files.
I have said this before and repeat now in that my own findings are that this is a fantastic set but get the distinct impression that it was issued in a rush without proper checking.
