Thanks Hank! Good to talk to you again. I saw you finished your New Jersey, It's a sight to behold!
I don't know If I'd give Trumpeter too much credit... there's very little Trumpy left on my Bissy; I've scraped it all off! Pontos on the other hand went pants on head crazy with their advanced set and it really takes the kit to another level. Veteran Models too... can't say enough good things about both company's stuff for this kit.

Re: 1/200 Trumpeter Bismarck 1940 Redux
Honestly makes me think I should really get a move on with the Yorktown of the same scale I bought off Martin. About the only thing I've done for her is attach her rudder and fair it in with a bit of melted plastic to fix the somewhat poor fit, as well as attach the propeller shaft supports. I was a bit daunted at having to glue on the docking keels without the benefit of any kind of locating tabs/holes, but given my recent success with a similar operation on HobbyBoss's 1/350 Typhoon SSBN, I've run out of excuses.
Well, that and the degaussing cables, which Trumpeter seems to think should be made with some quite thick copper wire...
