this hopefully will persuade the gel to eventually set!!

Next time use Polyester Resin, Jim! It does not excert any heat whatsoever when setting. Biologists (such my wife) use it to conserve plants and dead animals. I need to be able to cut away the meniscus where it tries to creep up the sides of bulkheads etc...
gel is much softer and can be retro-cut....!
