Actually, a lot of times holes for chain are molded too small. *Assuming* he scaled the chain correctly if the holes are too small they need to be reamed to scale. Actually, since I've gotten the right size chain on order (see post above), I will most certainly make sure it fits - even if I have to widen the hole just a wee bit.....
