Making it merely translucent would already be an improvement over the solid painted canopy that comes with many 1/350 ship aircraft.

in a mold then it might work but what does the product look like after you file or sand it...... I would think to use it as a conopy replacement you would have to file and sand to shape then you would have to try and polish it to get the clear to show........much, much, work.

Found this 2 part epoxy like stuff that hardens into something transparent. I can think of many uses for it, such as replacing the solid plastic canopy of 1/350 scale airplanes....
