Transparent modeling clay

Post by Guest »

Found this 2 part epoxy like stuff that hardens into something transparent. I can think of many uses for it, such as replacing the solid plastic canopy of 1/350 scale airplanes....

in a mold then it might work but what does the product look like after you file or sand it...... I would think to use it as a conopy replacement you would have to file and sand to shape then you would have to try and polish it to get the clear to show........much, much, work.

Making it merely translucent would already be an improvement over the solid painted canopy that comes with many 1/350 ship aircraft.
