Hmmm, Interesting one here!

I voted for the Vanguard and the Richelieu. The question doesn't relate to functionality, rather looks and personal perceptions, but I think both ships would have done well in battle in rough seas, more so than the other contestants. And to boot, they both looked fine and well found ships.

Incidentally, Vanguard was allegedly better than the Iowas in heavy seas! (- Dons steel helmet and anti-flash gear, waits for incoming salvoes!?) :woo_hoo: :destroyer:

well it had to be the Bismarck for me but if I had a choice it would Have been The Konig Class. Love those dreadnoughts :heh:

I am not sure if it is possible, but it would be interesting if we could view the breakdown of the preferences by continent/country. After all we are all conditioned by our cultures to perceive beauty in different ways. My prefs:

Built models of all the nominated ships except the French & Italian ones, but not because I didn't want to (they just weren't available for a long time).

Based upon what I've built, Queen Elizabeth (WWI version) is by far the most beautiful.

Well first for me will be Yamato, her size has always impressed me, it didn�t contribute much though all she was at the end was one huge target hard to miss on the water but still to me she is #1 baby!!! :big_grin: , as for #2 SODAK class, Dave you found the words I was looking for her I really like that �Pitbull type�.
