Hi Tracy
One of the most useful methods I have found is to use a plan, reduce it to the correct scale and draw the camoflage onto it (you need two, port and starboard). You can then put the tape over it and cut out, if you use Tamiya tape it retains enough stickiness to still adhere well to the model. Do this as often as required, remembering to cut out the correct bit of course!
Very good for complicated camoflage schemes.
