Thanks, Jose.
I assume you are interested in the cotton flags.
The home page is:
http://www.modelflags.com
If you search for Japan you will find it under "rest of the world".
Maybe you are searching for this (for Myoko?):
http://www.modelflags.com/acatalog/J02_ ... t_Sun.html
I think for 1/350 this is still okay but for 1/700 these flags are too large and the texture is too coarse.
I used these on my Chokai, Tone and Mogami, for example
viewtopic.php?f=59&t=48997&start=40
scroll to Mogami71

Or do you think of the flag I used on top of my Mogami?
viewtopic.php?f=59&t=48997&start=160 (scroll down)
This I made from teflon tape.

I just saw that your Myoko moved to the completed section. I will celebrate it to have a look on her.

Potchip, I agree with Dan and Bob. Your W-19 is nice "fast food". :thumbs_up_1: :thumbs_up_1:
And I am happy that my progress report helped you to start your nice minesweeper.
Your subhunter had to wait for a long time to get her companion.

I continued with my version. Here a picture in the "David Bilek style". I am a non smoker and not so easy for me to organize a cigarette.

Dirk, your post inspired me to knock off the same kit. Mine is more of the 'fast food' variety. Took about 3 days :cool_2:
Cheers.

Here more progress pictures:
I started with the rigging (UniCaenis). For the canvas imitation I used again Teflon tape and for the straps of the boats dental floss.

Here some more details added to the masts:
The crows nest is a short segment of brass tube which I modified by grinding and sawing with a Proxxon minidrill. The ends of the tube were closed with a layer of micro kristal clear. After painting this looks like one part.

I decided to add a type22 radar. There are some photos of W-19 class minesweepers prepared to receive a type 22 radar. There was already a cylindrical pylon. Here I used a nicer lattice structure which was one variant for Matsu-class destroyers.
Minesweeper11 (Rb=Rainbow, R =Lionroar).

Here my progress:
I mentioned some of the PE I used. (FH=Flyhawk, Rb=Rainbow, R and LE=>Lionroar, VTW=Veteran Model).
This time I did not use primer. Some of the parts are only dry fitted. The masts are still very naked and I am still working on the stack.

Sorry for my late reply. (I was so lazy).

Dan, I agree with you that the W-19 class was among the IJN handsomest minesweepers. I hope I will do her justice. Thanks for your confidence!

Uaw233, I can understand your English very well. I think it is more a code (Na aber hallo?). Thanks for your comments!

Sr. Gopher, thanks for your comments!
I will improve myself in the future to give more detail information about the used PE (in 5 min).

I have to say, I've been watching both of your tiny builds, and I am extremely impressed!

Now, one question: what PE set did you use for these?
