Hi Guys

The B that is being restored is at Rye. That's in East Sussex. As you drive along the main south coast road it goes through Rye and passes by where this vessel is moored. My travels took me through today. So I've attached photos showing the current progress.

I've sent you a 'pm' with my e-mail address so I can send you some other photo's. I don't have a website......yet and the other models I'm working on are only around half finished, but I can provide the following list:

HDML 1285 -- this is the only one actually finished.
ML 825 -- an RAN Fairmile B just awaiting crew figures.
MTB 234 -- a Vosper MTB.
ML 103 -- a Fairmile A class minelayer.
MGB 314 -- a Fairmile C class and HQ ship at St Nazaire.
ML 357 -- this one I started for my customer in WA before deciding to do them in resin so I'll keep this one for myself.
ML 531 -- this one is scratchbuilt in card and is a WW1 ML.
PT 103 -- the first US Elco 80' PT boat.
SC 648 -- a US Sub Chaser.
ML 306 -- another 'B', this one id from St Nazaire (Op Chariot) and
HDML 1321 -- an RAN Special ops boat involved with the coastwatchers and Z Special commando's.

All these are 1/144th scale and are all card models except ML 306 which will be a resin one for myself.

I'm also 'tinkering' with quite a number of other craft, both from existing card models and scratchbuilt including post WW2 craft leading up to the present day.

Yes Mike I know of 'Western Lady IV' which I believe is being restored back to it's former life as RML 526, one of the rescue ML's. They have a website ---
fairmileb-rml526.com but it appears none of the links work.........................yet, very much a 'work in progress' I suspect.

Nicolas, I'm sorry I don't know what you mean by "have you others pics??" do you mean other photo's of this model OR photo's of the other coastal forces models I'm working on?

A good looking model and well done.

Where I live in England, a few miles along the coast a "B" is being restored to its former glory. I've attached a photo of her in the quite early stages - in other words how she arrived.

Hello Everyone from 'way downunder',

Well after quite some time I have finally completed the first model (actually she wanted three) for a customer in Western Australian. The 'little ship' in question being the RN's Fairmile B class ML 357 which my customer's late father was the radio telegraphist during 1944-5. ML 357 was part of the 42nd ML Flotilla, operating in the Aegean and Adriatic Seas quite often doing clandestine work with the LRDG and Greek Sacred Sqn as well as some runs to and from occupied Crete.
