Hi, you may be interested to know that we are about to Auction on Friday 16th August 2013, several superb dockyard models of: -
A superb Dockyard Model of Motor Vessel "Elmworth" built by Archd. McMillan & Son Ltd. Dumbarton for the Dalgliesh Steam Shipping Co. Ltd. Newcastle (160cm long)
plus
A large scale model of HMS Sheffield D80 with other associated items. The model is only one part of a number of items from the third HMS Sheffield, others include the bell from the Chief Petty Officers Mess, bell plans, a large collection of photographs of the ship and her crew, memorabilia including a cased 'Yard Of Ale', and the blue 'Shiny Sheff' flag which she flew whenever returning to Hull on her home visits to 'Sheffield'.
