You need some styrene strips. You can either make your own, or buy some. Personally, buying some is the way I'd go.
Evergreen makes a variety of sizes and shapes. Most hobby shops carry the line.
You should be able to find a size close enough, say 0.010" by 0.125" might work.
It will be flexible enough to curve around the outside of the tub floor without any heat, just start at one end and work your way around slowly.
Then either cut some thin pieces for the ribs, or buy the size you need.
Don't use much glue, too much will melt the thin plastic.
