Hello all,
I am new to modeling and taking on a bit of an ambitious first project. I am converting a ship to match its set up when my grandfather served on it. I have been modifying the gun decks and am having trouble creating the gun deck walls. I am adding extra gun decks, so I am having to create new ones and modify existing ones. The walls are about 3mm tall FYI
Any ideas? See the pictures below for an example of what I have to do. Some of the gun decks are smaller and have tighter corners than the one pictured, so the gun deck wall will have to be pretty precise. Let me know what you all think!
Thanks!

You need some styrene strips. You can either make your own, or buy some. Personally, buying some is the way I'd go.
Evergreen makes a variety of sizes and shapes. Most hobby shops carry the line.
You should be able to find a size close enough, say 0.010" by 0.125" might work.
It will be flexible enough to curve around the outside of the tub floor without any heat, just start at one end and work your way around slowly.
Then either cut some thin pieces for the ribs, or buy the size you need.
Don't use much glue, too much will melt the thin plastic.

Could also try using paper - easier to glue-while-curve, and you can stiffen them afterwards with some superglue that you can then paint over.
