Say, does anyone have a clear shot of the kit's anchors?
I'm trying to work up some connections for my 3D printed chain to the anchor shackle, and a way to include the swivel in the chain... it would help if I could see what the kit provides in that area. TIA!
Also in the works... 1:200 chain stoppers... more later!

Anchor has its own shackle, then a short shackle attached to a "long link" (which allows the shackle to be inserted through).
From the shackles, a short stretch of chain to the swivel. After the swivel is the first full shot (15 fathoms) of anchor chain. And then you have three chain stoppers (with pelican hooks) on either side.
The Iowa's anchor shackle just shows at the top of the hawse pipe.
Thanks all, for the comments. Can't wait to see your installations!
For anyone waiting on me-- I just got in a new batch, but it requires some secondary ops at home, and I'm running out of town for the weekend (anyone else going to Manitowoc??)... So it should be ready early next week. Sorry for the delay.
OK, I should have another small batch of 13.5 LPI x 15 bulk chain on my ebay listing tonight. Made a last-minute decision to travel to the Manitowoc show last weekend, which put quite a hitch in my production process!
Now, heres a preview of a new design: Custom chain sets for the 1:200 Iowa Class. The images show CAD renderings for clarity, and actual initial samples.
The sets include:
2 runs of chain for the anchor stowed condition:
> 13.5 LPI chain links.
> Correct elongated link and bending shackle at outboard end. The bending shackle can be pinned to the anchor shackle with a bit of .020 (0.5mm) wire.
> Swivel link in the correct position (just aft of the middle chain stopper)
1 sprue with 6 + 2 extra chain stopper assemblies.
> Each stopper has a padeye, turnbuckle, pelican hook, and chain links. The upper jaw of the pelican hook is to be assembled onto the lower jaw, trapping the chain.
Using these stoppers will look better than the incorrect practice of simply using short runs of chain. Placing the pelicans under the chain (three places per side) will lift the chain off the deck locally, an effect which you can plainly see in any photos.
Questions:
> I have yet to see what Trumpeter provides for the anchor. I hope they include the anchors shackle?
> Not sure what Trumpeter provides for the padeyes on deck. Separate or molded on? Molded will require removal, and drilling of a 0.040 (1mm) hole for the provided chain stopper.

Elongated "bending link" and bending shackle, attach to anchor shackle.
Swivel at inboard end of "outboard swivel shot". From here, the first full 90 foot shot starts.
I've bought the chain from Floating Drydock (a month or so ago). Do you offer the stopper parts, etc. as a separate purchase? Also, are they available thru OTHER THAN Ebay? I had problems with them years ago and simply won't go that route again - esp. now with their accounts being hacked, etc. I would love to purchase the additional add-ons, if available.
When I get back to my shop Monday evening I'll take a pic or two of the MISSOURI kit anchors and post them early Tues. morning for you.
Thanks,
Hank

Hank: I use ebay because I can't justify putting together a full e-commerce site for this one item I make, and ebay makes it easy to track orders. But feel free to contact me offline, I'll take care of you one way or another!
Thanks for the comments on the chain stoppers. They are TINY, only 1/2 inch long each, and very fragile. Not quite ready for prime time yet, but I'll announce here when they are.
Will do - I'm not yet doing hull work, but will contact you when the time comes. I will get the anchor pix for you as mentioned. I fully understand your reasoning.
Thanks,
Hank

Includes 2x 7" lengths of 13.5 LPI chain, having the elongated link and shackle at the anchor end, and a simulated swivel link in the right place for Iowas.
Ok, here are a few pix of the Trumpeter 1:200 MISSOURI anchor parts:
Hope this helps,
