It all depends how you wish to finish your model? There were several significant detail differences.
With Viribus Unitis you have a choice of the olive green or light grey colour schemes. Also she initially had torpedo nets and booms. These were later removed.
Szent Istvn only ever had the light grey colour scheme as the olive green one was discontinued before she entered service. And she never carried any torpedo nets.
Viribus Unitis did a foreign cruise of the Mediterranean in May 1914 visiting several different ports including Malta and Beirut. Plus she would have been reasonably active in the Adriatic in peacetime before the outbreak of war. Szent Istvn was only completed during the war so saw very little sea time and spent most of her life at anchor in Pola.
On that basis Viribus Unitis would seem to present more options to the modeller? Though Szent Istvn is probably more famous due to the well known footage of her sinking.
They are designed for the Combrig kit I think so I was wondering would they be OK for the Trumpeter kit? They seem to pretty well match the latest Trumpeter kit versions length wise. So they should be OK to use with the Trumpeter kit. I have not measured them against drawings or anything, only compared them to the kit parts:
Guys, are there any rumors of some AM company doing a dedicated set (maybe Pontos, Infiny, or similar) for Trumpeter kit?
So far, only Eduard made a specific PE set (in this case "BIG" set):
They have been released just after the Kombrig kit, so they were designed for it.
See my post above from January 29th 2021 comparing the Master barrels to the Trumpeter kit barrels. I should add that the Master barrels do fit through the gun ports in the Trumpeter kit's turrets too.
I haven't built the kit yet so don't know about the Master masts and yards set. Difficult to envisage any problems really as they are straightforward pole masts and not complicated tripods.

I saw your earlier post.
Thanks for the input.
There is another barrel set:
Your original question referred specifically to the Master barrel set and not the B&D Barrels set. Hence my response.
As regards the B&D Barrels set I don't know as I don't have the set? Maybe try contacting the manufacturer and asking him directly? http://www.bdbarrels.com/
Here are two images from the Skoda archives that may help.
Maurice
Thanks for those. On them, the barrels seem much smoother than on the link I posted (kind of hard to see).
In that case, Master model, and Trumpeter seemed to get it closer to real thing than BD barrels.
Trumpeter's Szent Istvn seems to be finally appearing in stock with U.K. and European retailers. Looking forward to getting hold of one.
The link in the previous post is now showing the sprues. Here is the one unique to Szent Istvn with her distinctive funnel searchlight platform and square shaped ventilator cowl: http://www.trumpeter-china.com/Uploads/ ... 4c26ee.jpg
Has anyone built the Trumpeter 1/350 Szent istvn using the Eduard photo etch set?
I have this and was wondering why they seem to have ignored the underside of the searchlight platform part H14. They have P.E. parts for the underside of part F13 so why not H14.unless I'm missing something.

Reason:Merged into Tegetthoff class thread
Probably because they used their set for the Viribus Unitus as the starting point, which doesn't have the H14 searchlight platform, and forgot to include it when they modified the set for Szent Istvan. Only thing I can suggest is to hope that they might have actually included the parts but forgot to update the instructions, and see if there are any extra gussets left over at the end that you can use.
