making cage masts

hello planning the next model and wondering how the heck to start builing this??? the cage masts i mean,the ship is uss colorado 1930s.any hints or tips would be great or pics,just msg on the board here .

building |Warship Models--by PC Coker

Within it there is a a step by step illustrated sequence of how to scratchbuld a cage mast....

I know your dilmena. I found salvation in FINE SCALE magazine special publication called SCALE MODEL DETAILING published by KALMBACH PUBLISHING CO. You probably still get one from them. There IS a specific article on building cage masts in there!If you cant find it anywhere e-mail me through this site and send your address and I will send you a copy of the book ! commodore 4
