Agreed, excellent results!

So true.This was a exhausting project but I guess that is the only way to reach some kind of quality level.

Outstanding. well worth the time spent on it. An amazing amount of details and perfect weathering (i love the hull
). The seaplane is a jolly little masterpiece too. Bravo!

Thank you all for your kind words! Well appreciated since one needs a bit of encouragement with these ship monsters
I actually have the crew models ready, but will probably use them later on (maybe Musashi or Yahagi)...

We had here in Lahti, Finland a Model Show 2.9.2023. I took both IJN Kagero & IJN Tone there and got a lot of positive feedback. Kagero got a Honorary Mention for its rigging, but Tone hit the jackpot by winning its class "Watercraft" and was voted the split second among 400 models by the fellow modellers. After hard work it is always nice to get some recognition
