In an echo of my Mogami-class post...
What is the correct seaplane complement for Kinugasa in 1942 and how are these painted? Is she still carrying 1x E7k and 1x E13A and is the latter overall amber grey or when does it change to green?

Unfortunately, there is no readily available reference on seaplane complements, and the TROMS are incomplete on that point.
It's probably still 1 & 1. She's certainly carrying at least one E13a. The E13a was probaly light grey, as that was the new color scheme in 1942. The Alf may still have carried the blotch camo.

Thanks Dan, and for the other thread too. If you don't know (or know where to find out) then there isn't much hope for the rest of us
. Guess we just have to assume the Japanese kit manufacturers got their general knowledge on the seaplane complements from somewhere. In any case they're plausible so good enough.
