In case it wasn't mentioned before, Triumph Model will be releasing HMS Vanguard in a waterline/full hull version in 1/700 in August 2025

It was not, but there was a PE version in full hull they plan which is great. But this isnt plastic injected molding. it is rather resin hull + 3d printed superstructures + PE.

Seems they are going to release a Flight III Burke.

Now that's a dream kit in terms of ideal media composition (except maybe that radar antenna that would probably be better as PE) and cost.

Looks way better than Trumpeter's 1/350 attempt.

Just to put things straight, this Royal Oak is not from WW1. It is as she was sunk in 1939 after modernization - although the changes from her original configuration are much less obvious than the rebuilds of the Queen Elizabeths.

I believe that Hobby Boss has a 1/350 HMS Resolution on their timetable, I saw an excellent boxart painting by Randy Wilson.
Cannot post it here without his consent.

Boxart is complete so perhaps nearing release?

Makes me happy yes... My wallet not so much!

Hopefully we see a full suite of aftermarket for her too. Photoetch and real wood deck.

A chance to do that complicated 1942 camouflage scheme in 1.350. Excellent.

.

I would prefer to model an HMS Revenge, I would model her as on Operation Medium, when in the early hours of 11th October 1940, she with six destroyers and a screen of MGBs bombarded the invasion barges gathered at the port of Cherbourgm with a covering force of three cruisers and six destroyers.

A relatively unknown action from which the RN learnt a lot about real night-time bombardment (they wrote it up in a CAFO (Confidential Admiralty Fleet Order).

Indeed Revenge sported some pretty camouflage schemes in her time:

And would have been the among the last lines of defence for Britain had Operation Sealion gone ahead.

Still though. I will be very happy to see any R Classes in 1:350 plastic.

Exciting that we are finally moving on to what to me is the most classic looking Battlship of all (pre WW2). Single funnel, ram bow, 4 turrets, tall structure, mast. It doesnt look overwhelemed by them as QEs did, has nice wide bulges, etc. The thing is a looker and will look fantastic in 1/350 scale on any shelf. Well done to the makers.
