Is anyone undertaking the 1/350 Enterprise build and planning on lighting up their hangar deck? I have a question on the ceiling and those metal support brackets that come with the kit. I have installed a flush deck floor, trimmed the inner doorways to be flush to both the top and bottom door openings but now see a definite issue with installing 1mm sheet styrene for a ceiling and trying to use ribbon wire LED’s on the top of that. First choice was to run the strip lights on top of the ceiling styrene with the LED’s shining though drilled out holes. Now, it may look like I will need to run the LED strip lights under the ceiling and hide those by painting the just the ribbon strip and adding longitudinal styrene support beams to hide the strip. I was initially looking at just using LEDs but I would have a lot ow wires to contend with and no control over color changes. So I decided to go with a dimmable, color changing light strip instead. I’m open for any thoughts or tips. Thanks
