How do I excel at this game?

Post by Jeffcsr »

I'm not sure if I'm doing this right... I play, I get sunk... Sometimes I get lucky and make a few hits, but a Frigate against a Destroyer or Cruiser, I'm just a flaoting target to these guys ...LOL

When & how do I get a better ship? I can get an upgraded Frigate now  , but can't use it because I have no Bridge Officer.
How do I get a bridge officer?

TIA,
Jeff

BB5s are the largest ships in the game now...along with CV5s. Meaning they are tier 5 BBs and CVs, available at around level 103. BB.Montana, CV.Europa, to name two of them.

As a low level FF, you should stick to playing in DD rooms. Also, play the training mission a few times. You get 101 xp for each of your sailors each time you do it.

To go to a national port, you need to have a level 12 sailor that has been classed a nation and then as a BO.

Yeah, and the first player to have reached the level 120 limit is/was Ar2D2, on the US line.

I'm confused, I got to level 12 and a tutorial told me what to do to change port. I have a US bridge officer and crew, but when the tutorial tells me to select a new ship it says "not available at this time" ?!?

Help?

You need to select your BO's next ship by going through the same process as that of classing the sailor to BO; ie, click what used to be the CLS button, which now says SHP. Then select the Fletcher. After that, then you can click new and buy the Fletcher.
