Really nicely done model by Nick Dogger, of a very handsome battleship, Vittorio Veneto in today's gallery.
A very busy scene, with lots of detail to admire. Well done Nick!

Re: Nick Dogger's 1/700 Vittorio Veneto
Vittorio Veneto in all grey paint looks very good. Shows off the ship well. Im not sure she should be sitting so high in the water, as appears fully operational so gotta be fully loaded, with boot topping higher, but I trust Nick has taken care of this and knows what he is doing given the references detail, such as changes to bow shape tc.
I have a Littorio on the blocks so these changes shown are something Ill take with me, esp regarding filled in plating which bother me a lot as well, and the bow shape - that too I have focused on but rather on the below water part as it tends to break a bit. Really nice work overall, an inspiration to finish a 2 year old project!

It is always a special occasion to see one of Nick Dogger's models finished. This one is no exception.
It has a feel to it that only the best modellers can achieve. Congrats!
