A video guide to masking with Parafilm

Post by Yuth »

In this comprehensive video tutorial produced for 'La Royale' forum, I’m introducing an essential technique for your builds: masking with Parafilm M. Often overlooked in comparison to traditional masking tapes (Tamiya and the like), Parafilm is nevertheless the best alternative for hugging complex shapes and achieving razor-sharp separation lines, all without any risk of lifting textured paint.

Together, we’ll look at how to handle it, stretch it correctly, and apply it effectively to the most delicate areas, such as a ship’s deck or an aircraft canopy
